Ashley Zhuge '26 | Political Science Ashley studies political science and (is trying to study) economics. She is thrilled to return to the writing center after a year of studying abroad, with a heightened love for this community and appreciation of writing. When not in the classroom, you can find Ashley reading morning papers, sipping coffee, and figuring out what’s next in life.

Camille Lopez '26 | Computer Science, minor in Mathematics Camille (she/her) is excited to work at the Writing Center and is from Lawrence, MA. Her favorite things to do are eat apple cider donuts, hang out with friends, listen to music, and watch films in her dorm. Outside of the Writing Center, you can find her on SGA, coordinating CARLA events, or laughing at Erd Dining Hall!

Caroline Battersby '26 | Literatures in English and German Caroline (she/her) is thrilled to be back at the Writing Center after a semester of study abroad! She is an English and German double major from the San Francisco Bay Area. Her passions include modernist literature, ancient Christianity, animal rescue, bagels, and rom-coms.

Charlee Thacker '26 | Literatures in English, minor in Environmental Studies Charlee (she/they) is from La Verne, CA. She enjoys writing poetry, listening to music (or birds!), spotting animals around campus, visiting museums, and cooking. When they’re outside of the Writing Center, you can find them reading somewhere fun in the sun or being cozy in their room—whatever the weather decrees!

Jenna Mackenroth '26 | Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, minor in Literatures in English Jenna is from Queens, New York. Outside of school, she’s a Citizens for Boysenberry Jam fan, hot on the brain—particularly concerning memory and disease—, and pretends to keep a blog like a full time job. She also believes in the existence of the perfect bagel and dreams of one day spotting David Byrne on his bike.

Miya Matsumune '26 | Geology and History

Nada Elshafay '26 | Cities and Fine Arts Nada hails all the way from Cairo, Egypt. She intends to double major in Cities and Fine Arts. She’s beyond excited to work with you! When she's not at ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ writing about classical architecture, you'll find her bending metal at Haverford's sculpture studio, vlogging, or listening to Disney music while crafting elaborate travel plans that have yet to come true.

Nora Hugo '26 | Sociology and Spanish Nora (she/her) hails from Portland, Oregon, and whatever you assume about anyone from Portland, Oregon, is probably true of her. She enjoys cozy days (a good book and snacks required), picnics, and rewatching her five favorite shows on repeat. When she’s not working, she can be found trying to study in Carpenter Library or enjoying game nights with her friends.

Norah Chinn '26 | Literatures in English, minor in Chinese Norah is from Westfield, New Jersey. She loves traveling, painting, and binge-watching C-dramas in her room. Outside the Writing Center, you’ll find her studying languages, powering through HIIT workouts, or dancing with Choom!

Rachael Finke '26 | French and Political Science Rachael is excited to work in the Writing Center this school year! She comes from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Outside of school and work, she loves playing violin in the Bi-Co music program, listening to all kinds of podcasts (she welcomes recommendations!), going for walks, and drinking cappuccinos.

Rana Rastegari '26 | Literatures in English and Chemistry Rana is from Iran but lives in London. She loves to read anything by Joan Didion and bake in the Well Kitchen and hoard copies of Vogue. Outside the Writing Center, she works as the Co-Editor-in-Chief and can often be found in the newsroom. 

Sydney Schmidt-Nowara '26 | Psychology Sydney is from Brooklyn, NY. She is super excited to work with all kinds of writers! In her free time, Sydney loves to talk about reality dating shows, daydream about fun outfits, and spend time with her friends.

Ayla Conn '27 | International Studies, minors in Spanish and Linguistics Ayla is from the Chicago area and is so excited to be working at the writing center this year! Outside of work, you can find her co-captaining Mock Trial, looking for campus toads, starting a new craft, or enjoying a New Dorm root beer float with friends.

Chaewon Lee '27 | Political Science, minor in Economics Chaewon currently calls Arizona home, but was also raised in South Korea, California, and Nevada. Outside of work and school, she enjoys all things food related, Kdramas, taking ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ walks, and music, especially jazz, classical, and film scores. She also loves spending late nights talking and watching movies with friends in the dorm.

Felicia Famularo '27 | Sociology, minor in Data Science Felicia is from Storrs, CT (GO HUSKIES!), and she is so excited to be working in the Writing Center this year. In her free time, she loves binge-watching reality TV and reading romance novels. When they're not in class, you'll probably find them dancing, playing DTI with their friends, or catching up on the latest in the WNBA and RuPaul's Drag Race.

Nida Mubaraki '27 | Literatures in English and Creative Writing, minor in Film Studies Nida studies creative writing and film, but she has interests in philosophy, literature, Asian-American studies, and politics. She loves going on long walks, thrifting, going on matcha runs, listening to music, hanging out with friends, and perusing Trader Joe’s. Outside of the Writing Center, you can find her at Night Owls rehearsals, editing (and editing and editing) a poem, hidden in the WHRC studio, memorizing a monologue, or at ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ Film Institute! 

Isa Choi-Orr '27 | Undeclared (Classical Studies or East Asian Literatures & Cultures) Isa (she/her) is from D.C. and New York City. She is a prospective Classics major and East Asian Languages and Cultures minor. She spends her free time making buldak noodles, playing video games, and taking walks to the park down the hill. She is very excited to be working at the Writing Center!

Ella Horvath '27 | History of Art Ella is so excited for her first year at the Writing Center and loves to read and talk about writing! She is from seacoast New Hampshire, and while at ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥, can often be found in the Russian Center, college archives, and riding the Blue Bus or SEPTA in loops with friends. She is eager to work with students from all departments and interests and as an art history major is especially interested in the nuances of writing about the past.

Menaal Hussain '27 | Undeclared (Economics and Political Science) Menaal hails all the way from Islamabad, Pakistan. She is thrilled to be working with you this year! When she’s not studying or working, you can find her wandering through nature, cooking up something delicious, or exploring new spots outside of campus. She’s passionate about literature and often has a playlist on as she daydreams about her next spontaneous adventure.
