MOVE: Untangling the Tragedy, a lecture by Linn Washington Jr.

Please join us for a guest speaking event with Linn Washington, professor of journalism at Temple University and host/producer of MOVE: UNTANGLING THE TRAGEDY, an investigative podcast from the Logan Center for Urban Investigative Reporting at Klein College and The Philadelphia Inquirer on the long history of the 1985 MOVE bombing in West Philadelphia. Linn Washington will talk about his fifty years covering MOVE and the evolution of local and national journalism against a backdrop of police brutality and militarization of policing.
This event is supported by the Class of 1902 Lecture Fund, the Department of Anthropology, the Department of History, the Department of Political Science, The Museum Studies Program, and the Film Studies Program. It is free and open to all community members.
